Last night at youth group a seminarian gave this cool story. He mentioned how he brought a group of friends to Haiti. One of the group drank some of the water and got really sick. The seminarian brought him to the hospital. The hospital was in a bad part of town, and was enclosed by a wall. The seminarian was with his friend for most of the day. However, at 9 at night he decided to take a rosary walk outside the walls. As he walked outside the streets were empty. 8 men started walking towards him. These 8 men encircled him and started pushing him around. The men asked him what he was doing, “He said I am praying my rosary.” He put his hands into his pocket and clinched his rosary and prayed to Mary saying, “Mary give me the right words, help me.” As he was praying he saw a man sitting on a pile of lumber with sun glasses on. The man with sun glasses on fixed his eyes on the seminarian. The man with sun glasses came up to the 8 men. As he walked up they made an opening for him to come into the circle. He said to the men, “This man is a priest let him go.”
So on this feast of the Immaculate Conception remember the power of the Rosary.
