The Grizzly Bear Poem by father Stefan

A young boy walked down the mountain and saw two beautiful but huge Grizzly Bears
He was safe because there was a fence
A young Indian Boy wanted to become a man
The Test was to face the great grizzly bear
The Young boy goes into the wood for a day journey alone
He goes with his bow and arrow
When he sees the great grizzly bear he becomes a man
While in the wood he sense that the great grizzly is watching him but he does not see him
The young boy goes into the woods with a knife
Again he sense that the great grizzly is watching him but he doesn’t show himself
The young Indian Boy asked the chief what must he do?
The Chief says go into the woods but leave the bow and arrow and knife behind
The Young Indian boy go into the woods alone walking a day journey without his weapon
He finds a huge field in the woods, again he senses that the great grizzly is watching him
The young boy walks into the middle of field
the beautiful and huge grizzly comes out of the field and lumbers towards the unarmed boy
The huge grizzly looked at the boy and walks towards him
The grizzly comes to the boys and kneels before him and licks his finger
Than the grizzly turns and walks back into the woods
The Young Indian boy notice someone next to him, but he doesn’t know who he is
The Mysterious Stranger gives the boy strength and comfort
Eventually a male and female grizzly comes out of the woods and eat and play next to the boy
The small Indian boy is strangely unafraid as he admires these beautiful bears
In some way the boy now feels that these grizzly bears are his friends and even his protectors
The small Indian boy feels strangely like a man
