Fr Stefan and a Novena for calling down of the Holy Spirit

A couple of days ago I woke up with this Holy Spirit Inspiration. I would like to share it with you. Everyday I ask several of my saint friends in Heaven to pray that Jesus will give us a new outpouring of the Holy Spirit. It struck me. Why not ask the Apostles and Mary  who were there at the First Pentecost to pray for us to receive a New Pentecost?

We read in Acts 1:14 “All these with one accord devoted themselves to prayer, together with the woman and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.”

Mary filled with the Holy Spirit pray for us to receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit

Simon Peter pray for us to receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit

James the Greater pray for us to receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit

John pray for us to receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit

Andrew pray for us to receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit

Phillip pray for us to receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit

Thomas pray for us to receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit

Bartholomew pray for us to receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit

Matthew pray for us to receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit

James the Lesser pray for us to receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit

Simon pray for us to receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit

Thaddaeus pray for us to receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit

Matthias pray for us to receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit

Stephen pray for us to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit

Paul pray for us to receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit

Let us pray “When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. And suddenly a sound came from heaven like the rush of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared to them tongues as of fire, distributed and resting on each of them. And they were all filled with Holy Spirit.” …”Grant to your servants to speak out your word with all boldness, while you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus. And while they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God with boldness.” (Act 4:31)
